Let's run through some tones, errors, and troubleshooting on your MyCareLink Relay™ Home Communicator.
When an error occurs, an icon lights up orange, the communicator flashes the bottom segment of the light ring, and a tone plays. Note: To play the tone again, press the button. For additional assistance, contact Medtronic Stay Connected at (866) 470-7709.
Cellular Error-Relay™ cannot connect to the cellular network (immediately on boot or after a period of retries). No cellular coverage in the patient's area.
Troubleshooting: Move communicator closer to window for cellular connection or reconnect to Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi Error- Previously established Wi-Fi connection has been lost and Relay™ cannot connect to cellular backup. One mode of connectivity needs to be re-established or an Incompatible Router/Modem is being used (Ex: HotSpot) .
Troubleshooting: Resolve connection. Check Wi-Fi connection. Follow steps for setup for new connections if needed.
System Error- System has failed a series of ‘self checks’ and likely needs to be replaced. If error persists, call Medtronic StayConnected at (866) 470-7709 to replace MyCareLink Relay™ Home Communicator.
Troubleshooting: Remove the power cord from the monitor base, leave it unplugged for 60 seconds and reconnect power cord to monitor base. If error persists, call Medtronic Stay Connected at (866) 470-7709 to replace MyCareLink Relay™ Home Communicator.
Enrollment error- Patient is not fully enrolled in CareLink. If enrolled in Carelink, verify monitor assignment is correct.
Call clinic to finish enrollment and address “transmitting not enrolled.”
Troubleshooting: Refer to clinic.
